ZENITH supported 52 Super Series 2015 ends
The last race in the 52 Super Series five-event trophy took place in the magnificent Cascais Bay. After the Mediterranean, the seas of Spain and Italy, Cascais is the only Atlantic leg of this maritime championship. 12 teams from eight countries, manned by the world’s most experienced 12-man crews including two Portuguese sailors, participated in the Cascais Cup, which was won by the Doug DeVos Quantum Racing team. The season’s closing regatta, hosted by the Clube Naval de Cascais, ended on September 20 with the Azzurra team – bearing the iconic colours of Sardinia’s Yacht Club Costa Smeralda – lifting the trophy of overall 52 Super Series championship 2015 winner.
As official timekeeper, Zenith supported all international editions of the 52 Super Series and will continue backing its partners for the upcoming regattas in 2016 so as to continue building the legend. The 52 Super Series stands for the highest level in monohull racing, intended exclusively for experts and true sailing champions that show intrepid team spirit and a constant quest for precision and performance.
