Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph launched

Omega’s Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph was launched at a grand ceremony in Mumbai. The occasion was graced by Raynald Aeschlimann, Vice President- Sales, Omega, and Abhishek Bachchan, Omega Brand Ambassador.

Unveiling the Planet Ocean Chronograph, Omega Brand Ambassador Abhishek Bachchan said, “The Omega range never fails to surprise me. Commenting on the Seamaster series, Raynald Aeschlimann said: “The Seamaster series is a core range of Omega’s matchmaking heritage and the sportiest member of the 1950s trio, which also includes the classic Railmaster and the Speedmaster. All three share design features such as distinct case design, the curved horns and contrasting polished and brushed surfaces.”

True to the Seamaster’s roots, the Calibre 3313 high-quality self-winding mechanical movement, with a power reserve of 52 hours, drives the Planet Ocean chronograph. The distinguishing features of this professional diver’s instrument are the screw-in crown and screw-down case back, the helium escape valve, the fluted unidirectional rotating bezel featuring a luminous dot and the highly visible hands on the dial. The domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal has received an anti-reflective treatment on both sides for optimum clarity.

Part of the renowned Omega Seamaster series, this second-generation luxury version surpasses all the requisites of a professional diver’s watch and is water resistant to 600 metres (2000 feet). Priced Rs 194,000 onwards, it is available in two main colour versions, with orange highlights on the bezel and push-buttons with white dial details. A third option combines orange and white dial details with a black bezel and push-buttons.


SRK launches TAG Heuer’s Shah Rukh Khan Monaco Sixty Nine

TAG Heuer, the Swiss watch making legend recently unveiled the Shah Rukh Khan Monaco Sixty Nine limited edition Chronograph followed by a rocking party at the Enigma, J W Marriott in Mumbai. The strikingly bold, limited range of 150 watches carries Shah Rukh Khan’s signature on the digital side of the dial. This priceless possession is valued at Rs. 3.05 Lakh.

The evening also witnessed the honouring of Civil Aviation Minister, Praful Patel with ‘TAG Achiever Award’ by Shahrukh Khan RK and Ravi Thakran. King Khan was also accompanied by the entire cast of his forthcoming movie Don, wherein he presented the adorable Sixty Nine Limited edition timepieces to his co-stars. Post which the entire star cast shook their legs on the Khaike Paan song from the movie Don.

The prized SRK timepiece is incorporated in the movie Don in an exciting fashion. With design inputs from Shah Rukh himself, the watch is packaged in a special case designed specially for the limited edition.

Another highlight of the evening was a fashion show, wherein top models adorned the timeless timepiece

and scorched the ramp in pristine white ensembles created by ace designer Rohit Bal. The star studded evening witnessed at Enigma was well attended by the Bollywood brigade, including Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Isha Koppikar, Arjun Rampal, Gul Panag and others.

Longines BelleArti launch party sets the ramp ablaze

The era was 1920’s, the look inspired by Audrey Hepburn. It was a scintillating evening on October 17, 2006 when Longines hosted the BelleArti post launch party. An invite-only affair, the party was attended by glitterati of Delhi’s party circuit along with some renowned faces from the fashion industry.

The audience was left spellbound when Longines brand ambassador Aishwarya Rai played the show – stopper.

Priced at Rs 67,000 onwards, The BelleArti range is made in 18 carat pink gold with caseband set with diamonds. The watches sport a silvered dial with black painted Arabic numerals. Just to add the glamour and royal look, all BelleArti models are bedecked with a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflection coating. The suave look is complete with anthracite, alligator skin or satin straps.
