LONGINES Supports Children for Tomorrow
Children for Tomorrow, in partnership with the Swiss watch brand Longines, hosted a media event at their foundation’s headquarters at the University clinic of Hamburg Eppendorf in the presence of Stefanie Graf. On this occasion, Longines proudly reiterated its full support to the charity organisation.
Longines boasts a long-lasting tradition of supporting charitable causes. The core values of the brand have always led Longines to serve philanthropic purposes and this remains today one of its priorities.
To bring awareness to the sensitive matter of refugees and psychological well-being, Children for Tomorrow, in partnership with Longines, hosted a media event at its headquarters at the University clinic of Hamburg Eppendorf. The international invited media had the opportunity to learn more about the foundation’s work and get a deeper insight into the programs that are used to treat the psychological damage directly from Stefanie Graf, co-founder and Chairwoman of the organization, and from a qualified team of specialists in the field of trauma-therapy.
On this occasion and to further support its Ambassador’s charity work, and especially the Art Therapy which offers refugee children and youth the opportunity to develop their nonverbal skills by using the therapeutic effect of artistic medium, the Swiss watch brand made a donation of 100’000 Euros to the Children for Tomorrow foundation.
“It was an honour to welcome our partner Longines in our premises and show them firsthand some of the programs we are providing to our patients,” stated Stefanie Graf. “Since 2008, Longines has been an incredibly supportive partner by helping to raise awareness for our children and the needs of the foundation by highlighting our mission. I am sincerely pleased to collaborate with a partner who shares my passion and commitment for children in need.”
