JAEGER-LECOULTRE Six Years’ Partnership with the Shanghai Filmfest
The 19th Shanghai International Film Festival came to a successful closure on June 19. In its sixth year of cooperation with the festival, Jaeger-LeCoultre paid tribute to the art of filmmaking with a stunning showcase.

At the closing ceremony of the 2016 Shanghai International Film Festival, Chinese actor Liu Ye won the Golden Goblet Award for Best Actor for his role in Cock and Bull. The Best Actress award went to Japanese actress Naomi Fujiyama for her performance in Danchi. Jaeger-LeCoultre again provided its Reverso masterpieces to honour these most outstanding performers of film industry.

On behalf of Jaeger-LeCoultre, as an official partner and the designated fine watchmaking brand sponsor of the 19th Shanghai International Film Festival, Daniel Chang, Managing Director of Jaeger-LeCoultre China, presented a customised Reverso Grande Taille to the winner of the Best Actor award and a Grande Reverso Lady Ultra Thin to the winner of the Best Actress award, further reinforcing the Reverso collection’s deep relationship to film.
Both watches feature a special handmade lacquered engraving of the Golden Goblet Award on their backs. Over the past ten years, Jaeger-LeCoultre has supported several world-renowned film festivals.
