On the closing night of the festival, Jaeger-LeCoultre supported the talents and presented its iconic Reverso watch to Lorenzo Vigas, Golden Lion winner for the Best Film, as well as to Valeria Golino, Coppa Volpi winner for Best Actress, and Fabrice Luchini, Coppa Volpi winner for Best Actor.

In 2015, the year that marks the 10th anniversary of its presence at the Mostra, Jaeger-LeCoultre has created a special design that turns each watch into a memorable object creating an emotional link with the person who wears it.

Director Christian Vincent received the award for actor Fabrice Luchini the Coppa Volpi

Each Reverso watch bears the inscription “72. Mostra” and is adorned with a lacquered engraving depicting a lion, the symbol of Venice; a sparkling diamond was set above the engraving to highlight the precious moment in time.

The Golden Lion Award went to Desde allá (From Afar), directed by Lorenzo Vigas. The film portrays Armando, a 50 year-old man who seeks young men in Caracas and pays them just for company. One day he meets Elder, a 17 year-old boy, the leader of a criminal gang, and that encounter changes their lives forever.

Italian actress Valeria Golino won the Coppa Volpi Award for Best Actress in the film Per Amor Vostro by Giuseppe Gaudino and French actor Fabrice Luchini won the Coppa Volpi for Best Actor in the film L’Hermine by Christian Vincent.
