JAEGER-LECOULTRE celebrates the 73rd Venice Filmfest winners
On the closing night of the festival, Jaeger-LeCoultre, presented its iconic Reverso watch, engraved to commemorate the occasion, to filmmaker Lav Diaz, winner of the Golden Lion for his movie The Woman who Left, to Emma Stone, winning the best actress Coppa Volpi for her performance in La La Land and Oscar Martinez winner of the best actor Coppa Volpi for his performance in the movie The Distinguished Citizen.

In 2016, the year that marks the 11th anniversary of its presence at the Mostra, Jaeger-LeCoultre has created a special design that turns each watch into a memorable object creating an emotional link with the person who wears it.
Each Reverso watch bears the inscription “73. Mostra” and is adorned with a red lacquered engraving depicting a lion, the symbol of Venice.

The main sponsor of the Venice International Film Festival for over a decade, Jaeger-LeCoultre annually confers the Glory to the Filmmaker Award on a filmmaker chosen by the director of the festival.
Since April 2013, as part of its partnership with the Film Society of Lincoln Center in New York, Jaeger-LeCoultre has launched the Filmmaker in Residence Program, an initiative which supports a filmmaker in the realisation of his future projects.

On the occasion of the Shanghai International Film Festival, Jaeger-LeCoultre works to protect the Chinese cinematographic heritage by funding the restoration of old movies.
