Building on its unique ties with the world of the 7th Art, Jaeger-LeCoultre is proud to be associated with the Académie André Delvaux and the Magritte Awards which annually celebrates the amazing richness of Belgian cinema. The 6th edition of the Magritte Awards took place at the Square, in Brussels. For the third consecutive year, Jaeger-LeCoultre is partner of this event chaired by actress Marie Gillain and hosted by actor and screenplay writer Charlie Dupont.

This year, a new category was added by the Académie André Delvaux to the twenty-one existing awards, the Magritte of the Best Animated Short Film, in total of 21 awards. Jaeger-LeCoultre had the pleasure to reward Veerle Baetens for Best Actress in “Un début prometteur” and Wim Willaert, Best Actor for his performance in “Je suis mort mais j’ai des amis”, with a unique engraved Reverso watch.

This year, the Honorary Magritte Award celebrated the French actor Vincent Lindon for his film career. His award was handed out by Stéphane Brizé, film director of the movie ‘The Measure of a Man’ (La loi du marché). For this occasion, Jaeger-LeCoultre had the pleasure to offer Vincent Lindon a personalized Atmos clock.
