Haute Route 2016 begins on time with TAG HEUER!

TAG Heuer starts the race against the clock stage of the Haute-Route 2016, as Official Timekeeper of the race for the second year, a series of week-long stage races across Europe’s iconic cols in the Alps, Pyrenees and Dolomites Swiss Alps. The #DontCrackUnderPressure campaign is into the heart of the race, with a TAG Heuer lounge where the participants will have the chance to benefit from a cryotherapy experience to help them recover from the race.

The Haute Route Pyrenees started in Anglet on the Basque coast on August 20, finishes in Toulouse on August 26; the Haute Route Alps starts in Nice on August 28, finishing in Geneva on September 3; and the Haute Route Dolomites-Swiss Alps covers a course from Geneva to Venice (03 – 11 September).

1300 cyclists from more than 50 nationalities will race in three separate events following the same format: seven fully timed and ranked stages over seven consecutive days. 800km of timed and ranked road racing, 20 iconic mountain passes and 20,000 vertical meters of climbing – the equivalent of two ascents of Everest, with professional organization including medical teams, mechanical support, rolling road security, film crews, and of course massages, competitors are 100% immersed in the world of cycling for 7 unforgettable days.
