DIOR VII Grand Bal Collection

A new model, resulting from the encounter between traditional Haute Couture know-how and watchmaking technology, comes to complete the Dior VIII Grand Bal collection.

Limited to 88 pieces, the Dior VIII Grand Bal “Fil d’or” pays a refined, elegant and subtle homage to the magical and much coveted material – gold. Like a House of Dior signature, gold thread is given pride of place and, thanks to the dextrous fingers of a lady lace-maker from Le Puy-en-Velay, decorates an oscillating weight trimmed with diamonds and gold.

Proposed in pink gold and black ceramic, the Dior VIII Grand Bal “Fil d’or” is equipped with an automatic movement exclusive to the House of Dior, the “Dior Inversé 11 1/2” calibre, featuring a functional oscillating weight placed on top of the dial recalling the swirl of a ball gown.

Dedicated to creation, an audacious dialogue between jewellery and watchmaking know-how, and the art of lace making, the watch carries an extremely delicate weave on a tungsten frame.
