Nominated in the Jewellery category alongside Audemars Piguet, Bvlgari, Chaumet, Fabergé and Piaget, the Grappoli is on its way to reap the fruit of success. Known for creations of exception and all the superlatives, de GRISOGONO has staked its story with record-breaking and rule-breaking haute couture and creative objects that have made their impression.

Expressing a unique bond between its high jewellery and watchmaking know- how and giving pride of place to spectacular gemstones, exceptional cuts and state-of-the art setting techniques, de Grisogono knows how to bring extra soul and character to its jewellery timepieces. The briolette-cut stones have become a signature of de Grisogono collections.

By using a gem-setting technique that gives the stones complete freedom by revealing them in a manner that creates the illusion they are floating in mid-air. An entirely hand-crafted technique akin to that of haute couture, stemming from a subtle combination of time, talent, passion as well as infinite patience – and vividly expressed at the heart of the Grappoli jewellery timepieces collection.

Made of 120 hours of work, the Grappoli S08 asserts de Grisogono high jewellery mastery and Haute Couture spirit. Composed of different harmoniously set stones, cuts and colours, it skilfully plays with contrasts and polar opposites, placing its chiaroscuro touch and mingling various types of stones set on black rhodiumed gold.

A total of approximately 76 carats of precious stones set in a singular creation that mark the passing hours and emphasize the lustre of its stones. The delicate snow-setting on the dial and bezel is framed by a double row of gently moving briolette-cut gemstones. 70 moving briolettes delicately sewed on the case modules are composing an amazing corolla made of grapes of gems smoothly jiggling on the wrist.
