AUDEMARS PIGUET’ Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon
Available in 18-ct pink or white gold, the new Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon combines the case’s shimmering Frosted Gold finish with a contemporary dial composed of multiple layers. For the first time, the Royal Oak Concept’s case is adorned with Frosted Gold—an ancient Florentine jewellery technique revisited by jewellery designer Carolina Bucci and adapted to adorn the Manufacture’s watches. An ultimate athleisure watch, Breitling’s Endurance Pro combines an ultra-lightweight 44 mm Breitlight® case and a thermo-compensated SuperQuartz™ movement ten times more accurate than conventional quartz. The collection is inspired by the Breitling Sprint, a memorable watch from the 1970s that combined a pulsometer with an impressively lightweight. The watches are presented on a Diver Pro rubber strap in the same colour as the inner bezel ring New West Organic 6 3. The strap is secured with a Breitlight® double-pin buckle. For Endurance Pro fans who want to add even more colour to this already dazzling watch, vibrant Outerknown ECONYL® yarn NATO straps that pair perfectly with this eye-catching chronograph can be purchased separately. The watch also has a tactile moulded crown in the same colour as the strap and the inner bezel ring for excellent grip and manoeuvrability. The hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova®, making them legible even in limited lighting conditions. The chronograph second hand has a red pointer so it is easy to keep track of the elapsed time. Along with a small-second subdial, there are 1/10th second and 30-minute chronograph counters that have also been designed for easy reading. It follows the self-winding Flyback chronograph launched in January 2020 as the second model in the Streamliner collection adt bundle. “Streamliner” is a reference to the first high-speed trains from the Twenties and Thirties, whose rounded curves these models re-interpret. This new model focuses on the essential: hours, minutes, centre seconds. Equipped with a steel case on an integrated steel bracelet, the aesthetic of the watch is perfectly harmonious, from its ideal proportions and fluid forms to its high-end finishes. It is paired with a brand-new and uniquely elegant fumé dial in Matrix Green. Featuring a 40.0-mm steel cushion case, which is water-resistant to 12 ATM, it offers extraordinary ergonomics thanks to the design which includes a fully integrated steel bracelet with no lugs on the case red medicine. The case middle has hollowed and satin-finished forms on the sides, and alternating brushed and polished surfaces, in a nod to the traditional unusual shapes typical of Moser cases. It is topped by a subtly domed sapphire crystal, echoed by the see-through case back.
