AUDEMARS PIGUET golf trophy 2013

The Audemars Piguet Golf Trophy 2013 was held in Singapore on the 19th of April. The tournament saw Audemars Piguet collectors and golf enthusiasts from across the region gather for a game of golf as the morning showers cleared out the impending haze and heat. Audemars Piguet’s guests from Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore were hosted for breakfast before a 7.30am shotgun tee-off. To sweeten the game, guests rubbed shoulders and exchanged pointers with Mr. Lam Chih Bing, Audemars Piguet Singapore’s local golf ambassador, and Mr. Oliviero Bottinelli, Managing Director of Audemars Piguet, Asia, before swinging for the nearest to pin and Audemars Piguet’s Hole-in-One. The event saw not only a gathering of golf fanatics, but also many owners of Audemars Piguet timepieces, particularly the Royal Oak Offshore Pride of Siam, launched exclusively and dedicated to Thailand in early April.

Following the Audemars Piguet Golf Trophy 2013 in the morning, guests were invited back to the Fullerton Hotel for a sit-down dinner and prize presentation. All were spoilt and pampered as a plethora of specially selected fusion cuisine was served amidst fine wine and champagne. Rani Singam and Band belted out classic jazz hits, mesmerizing the crowd. Mr. Oliviero Bottinelli was thrilled with the success of Singapore’s first-ever AP Golf Trophy “One of our first golf tournament involving the region, and we are very happy to host more than 100 golfers who were all geared up for the morning event, even before the sun rise. The friendliness of our guests and the passion they showed on the greens makes me feel like I should start playing, in order to join them next year. While having dinner in the evening, I was surprised by how much they know of AP’s golf ambassadors”
