The five–day long exhibition of Vacheron Constantin high complication timepieces at the MixC, the most iconic and prestigious shopping landmark in Shenzhen, China will come to an end on June 11.
The exhibition which began on June 7 brought in Reference 57260’s to South China, creating a high time for watch collectors, lovers and public to view this most complicated watch ever. The exhibition is a demonstration of mechanical wonders reflected by the feat of complications of timepieces such as the tourbillon, the perpetual calendar, and the minute repeater, as well as the artistic crafts of guilloché, engraving, enameling, gem-setting, made or applied by Vacheron Constantin, along with the finishing of the movement, the dial, the case, that meets the criteria of Hallmark of Geneva certification and what a Vacheron Constantin timepiece should be.
The piece de resistance of the show is Reference 57260 is a custom-made creation, made using the classic principles of watchmaking along with resolutely 21st-century thinking. The masterpiece is an original timepiece exhibiting a total of 57 complications, several of which are entirely new and unique. With 8 years of development, the timepiece was developed and crafted by 3 Vacheron Constantin Master Watchmakers solely dedicated to this project.
