New models of Vacheron Constantin Historiques collection were showcased at a preview held at the legendary Hôtel de Crillon in Paris recently.

Embodying the essence of the 1920s and 1940s creativity, the Historiques Triple Calendrier 1948 and 1942 models, along with the American 1921 – 36.5 mm were presented at a place brimming with heritage facing the Place de la Concorde, an atmosphere tinged with neo-retro touches and humming to the tune of jazz music.

Other highlights of the event included a demonstration by a master-watchmaker working on Manufacture movements, along with a photo booth enabling guests to try on the new Historiques creations.

The two Historiques Triple Calendrier models revive a complication and a style epitomising the 1940s: a calendar, a round case featuring triple gadroons, a two-tone dial, claw-type lugs and a mechanical manual-winding movement are the signature characteristics of the new Triple Calendrier 1942 and Triple Calendrier 1948.
