HUBLOT Classic Fusion Chronograph Chelsea FC
Hublot and Chelsea FC celebrated their longstanding partnership with the launch of a new Classic Fusion Chronograph Chelsea FC limited edition timepiece. The timepiece showcases Chelsea FC’s signature blue through the innovative use of coloured ceramic. The 45mm case and bezel showcase a deep satin-finished and polished blue ceramic, combined with a blue dial with silver counters. The watch is powered by the HUB1143 self-winding chronograph movement with a 42-hour power reserve and the finishing touch is provided by the lined blue rubber strap and Chelsea FC logo. The timepiece is limited to 100 pieces and engraved with « Limited Edition 100Num » and « Pride of London », perfectly tailored to complement the wardrobe of a dedicated Chelsea FC supporter.
ZENITH El Primero Ref. A386
Zenith and Phillips have created two El Primero Ref. A386 chronographs, limited to 69 pieces in total, in honour of the birth year of the El Primero calibre. For the stainless steel version, Phillips’ team was inspired by colour schemes characteristic of fashionable textiles and popular interior design during the 60s. The iconic overlapping registers of the first-ever Zenith El Primero Ref. A386 remain, but brown terracotta tones replace the grey, dark grey and blue of the original dial. The launch, in Geneva, of the two limited editions Zenith El Primero Ref. A386 for Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo marks the final stop of the El Primero 50th Anniversary World Tour celebrating the watchmaker’s revolutionary chronograph across five continents. The watches will be offered individually to clients, the steel model will be offered on a leather strap and a ladder bracelet reminiscent of the bracelets made by Gay-Frères for Zenith back in the day. However, the winning bidder of the “One-Off” Zenith El Primero A386 in platinum will be given right of first refusal to the yellow gold and stainless steel limited editions, in order to have the opportunity to acquire all three models made for Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo, and completing a unique trilogy in three different case metals.
ULYSSE NARDIN Diver X Cape Horn & Diver X Nemo Point
Ulysse Nardin has created two watches, namely Diver X Cape Horn and the Diver X Nemo Point in honour of the sailors who part in Vendée Globe, the world’s most daunting open-ocean race. Competed without any support, stops or technical assistance of any kind, skippers face icy cold conditions, mountainous waves, leaden skies and howling gales as they traverse the Atlantic and Southern Oceans to sail solo around the planet’s roughest seas. With its saffron burnt orange stitching on the strap to recall the Spice Route or the harrowing trip around Tierra del Fuego, carbon bezel and instantly recognizable “X” on the face, the Ulysse Nardin Diver X CAPE HORN – the official watch of the Vendée Globe – will be issued in a limited edition of 300 pieces only. Its UN-118 movement guarantees accuracy in any hemisphere at any time of the day or night. The fabric strap is made from cutting-edge technology closing scratch: adjustable yet light, this material pairs magnificently with the ultra-light, carbon face. The satin black “X” is boldly stamped 6-12 in relief across the face. With its blue fabric strap with red lining, it is reminiscent of the leash on a surfboard. The closing scratch is made with cutting-edge technology. The blue rubber bezel and instantly recognizable “X” on the face, the Ulysse Nardin DIVER X NEMO POINT will be issued in a limited edition of 300 pieces only. Its UN-118 movement guarantees accuracy in any hemisphere at any time of the day or night. The blue “X” is boldly stamped in relief across the face and the route of the Vendée Globe is stamped on the back.
LUMINOX Navy SEAL Steel
Luminox debuts the Navy SEAL Steel 3250 Series presenting five different models, including a blackout version. It has the iconic Luminox ‘turtle-shaped’ case, with raised numbers and indices on the dial, and alternating brushed and high polish stainless steel accents on the case and bezel. The muscular 45 mm stainless steel case is designed to stand up to extreme conditions. Its unidirectional ratcheting bezel and Sapphire Crystal with anti-reflective coating protect the dial. The steel series has a screw-down crown and case back ensuring water resistance to 200 m and is available on a solid-link stainless steel bracelet, black genuine leather band or grey webbing strap. Like all Luminox watches, the watches of the Navy SEAL Steel Series are Swiss Made and feature Luminox Light Technology (LLT), a dial illumination system that glows for up to 25 years, regardless of conditions, so that the time is always visible.
