Surrounded by 250 privileged guests Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe welcomed famous Turkish actor Kerem Bürsin in the Hublot family at an event held in Istanbul.
“It is my pleasure to welcome leading actor Kerem Bürsin in the Hublot Family. Kerem personifies the Art of Fusion dear to Hublot, “said Guadalupe.
Born Turkish and raised in seven different countries, Kerem, a successful all-rounder began his career on stage in both Texas and Massachusetts where he studied before he moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to take his first major roles on television. In 2013, he made a successful return to his homeland, taking the leading role in “Waiting for the Sun”, a TV show which quickly became a hit phenomenon in Turkey and in the surrounding countries. This success allowed him to be approached by famous Turkish director Cagan Irmak and to accept the role in “Whisper if I forget”. Another success, as he has been awarded Best Actor at the Seoul International Drama Awards 2017.
“As an actor, I shall never forget who I am and where I come from while constantly working on renewing my acting, which is quite close to the Hublot philosophy – respecting tradition while going against the mainstream,” said Kerem.
During the event, guests were invited to a journey into Hublot’s watchmaking universe discovering the true meaning of “The Art of Fusion” through a series of exhibition walls demonstrating its quest for innovative materials and horological excellence. Showcased timepieces embodied this motto such as the Big Bang Meca-10 made of Magic Gold, a patented, scratch-resistant material created by the revolutionary fusion of 24-carat gold and ceramic.
