The 12-day long FEI World Equestrian GamesTM Tryon 2018 of which Longines is the proud Official Partner, Timekeeper and Watch, came to an end recently with Germany topping the medal tally. About 650 athletes coming from more than 70 countries gathered at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina to be part of one of the biggest sports events on the global sporting calendar.

After an exciting first week including competitions in the disciplines of Dressage, Eventing, Reining and Endurance, the second week also offered sports performance at the highest level in Jumping, Vaulting, Para-Equestrian Dressage and Driving. This unique equestrian rendezvous concluded with the astonishing victory of German rider Simone Blum and her mount DSP Alice at the Individual Jumping World Championship as well as the triumph of Team USA and Boyd Exell (AUS), who respectively claimed the Driving team and individual titles. Throughout the entire duration of the event, Longines presented elegant timepieces to the medallists in each discipline.
